Hotel Café Royal partners with Luxury British shoe designer Malone Souliers to host pop-up shoe parlour and Christmas tree from 30th November 2015 until 2nd January 2016.
Christmas is coming in refined British splendour at Hotel Café Royal, one of London’s most iconic luxury hotels. Steeped in tradition and fit for the most opulent of celebrations, Hotel Café Royal is the perfect place for guests and locals alike to share festive cheer, merriment and hospitality in the heart of London.
This Christmas, Hotel Café Royal has partnered with British luxury footwear label, Malone Souliers, to create a stunning, floating Christmas tree which will enjoy pride of place in the heart of the hotel from the 30th November 2015 onwards. The ceiling height Christmas tree will comprise an aluminium, mesh and foam traditional tree-shaped structure, clad in festive red suede, and beautifully decorated with 150 colourful Malone Souliers shoes in celebration of the hotel’s sesquicentennial.
The hotel will also host a Malone Souliers pop-up shoe parlour in the main entrance of the hotel, in partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation, and will be the label’s first dedicated UK retail space, featuring exclusive styles not available elsewhere. 50% of all proceeds from the pop-up will go to Starlight Children’s Foundation, a charity which aims to grant wishes for seriously ill children and provides them with stimulating hospital programmes during their treatment. The Malone Souliers pop-up will be open 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
The beautiful Christmas tree is not the only reason to visit Café Royal during the festive season: guests celebrating Christmas Day itself at 68 Regent Street are in for a treat. Upon arrival at the hotel on Christmas Eve, guests will be greeted with a chilled bottle of Champagne, to start the celebrations in style. Whether staying in one of the hotel’s luxurious bedrooms or stunning suites, guests will awake on Christmas Day to their very own Café Royal stocking filled with edible treats, and a special personalised gift, followed by a traditional English breakfast.
A highlight of Christmas Day is always indulging in a fine lunch and Hotel Café Royal will be creating a sumptuous festive menu in the Ten Room. The menu will feature bold flavours and the finest of locally sourced ingredients, with modern touches cleverly weaved through traditional Christmas favourites creating a unique and delightful festive meal.
Hotel Café Royal will be ringing in the New Year in all its finery. The night begins with a champagne reception in the beautiful Oscar Wilde Bar, surely the most decadent, glamorous setting for a New Year’s Eve party in London. A wonderful five-course dinner will then be served in the Ten Room. For those then wanting to see in the New Year with bubbles and dancing into the early hours, it’s back to the Oscar Wilde Bar to kick up your heels for a lavish party into the early hours. The following morning on New Year’s Day, a restorative traditional English breakfast will be served, and all Hotel Café Royal guests will enjoy a complimentary late check-out.
Guests wanting to book the ultimate New Year’s Eve experience at Hotel Café Royal can check-in to the Dome Penthouse, the private terrace of which is the perfect location to hold an intimate private party high above the heart of London. Price on application.
