The Truscott Arms opens their terrace for a fine al fresco summer

Tuesday, 19th of May 2015 sees Maida Vale’s best-loved pub The Truscott Arms open their breathtaking terrace.

Showcasing a delightful duo of stunning Chase cocktails and Ice cold Maison William Chase Rosé accompanied by a new list of delectable canapés from Head Chef Aidan McGee.

TTA barman Joao Estevam has worked alongside the super talented team at Chase Distillery, coming up with a couple of stunningly refreshing summer drinks, perfect for sipping in the lovely early summer evening sunshine. Joao’s Chase cocktails include Lady Truscott, lavender infused Chase gin muddled blackberries on crushed ice laced with Myrtle. Lemongrass Drop features St Germain, Chase vodka, pineapple juice and lemongrass. The Truscott Arms is also debuting a British favorite, Maison William Chase Rosé, a dry, crisp and fruity Provençal rosé, served ice cold by the glass or bottle.

Chef Aidan’s terrace canapés are not to be missed out on and feature, for savory, the delightful Truscott crabdog, Cornish crab, pickled cucumber, chives and brioche, Ham hock, pressed ham hock, pickles, mustard, chervil and Goats cheese, red onion and filo pastry and the legendary Pig Board, crispy pigs ears, puffed pig skin and pigs head bites.
For those craving something sweet to finish on, one can choose either Strawberries, mint granita, lemon cream or Chocolate mousse, Regents Park Honeycomb, yoghurt sorbet.

The supremely comfortable Truscott Terrace is situated in the back garden. It is open seven days a week and makes the ideal spot to relax and unwind, catch a few early evening rays of sunshine. Wednesday to Saturday evenings sees the Terrace turn into an al fresco dining room serving Aidan’s exceptional dinner menu, while the rest of the week it can be used it for events, private dinners or drinks parties or just to enjoy with of something delicious.
