Tank to plate in 2 minutes // Sashimi lovers paradise.

Sashimi is one of Japan's greatest exports, with foodies across the world adopting this raw delicacy we recommend two places you should try asap!

It's hard to find really decent sushi and sashimi in London, but there are two I can thoroughly recommend, for very different occasions.
Sushi Samba is expensive but elegant and a fantastic view atop the Heron Tower. If you want a treat and don't mind paying city prices, then it's well worth a trip. Flavours to die for and presented with such beauty it's almost a crime to tuck in.

Venture slightly out of town though to Staines-Upon-Thames, and you'll find a hidden gem which is well worth the effort. Sushi Nara is small with only about 20 seats in the whole place, very attentive staff and glorious food. All made right there and then, the chefs take immense pride in their work even in these humble surroundings.

Still, I'm yet to find one quite as good as I found in Tokyo as below, but the search will continue! Comments are open!
